Learners completing the Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care will allow progress to:

The Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care; or
The second year of undergraduate study in health and social care; or
Directly into employment in an associated profession.

The Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification leads learners to enter the University at year 2 of a University degree.

The Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care provides its learner with realistic and appropriate career-related opportunities worldwide for 21st-century employment markets.

The CQC considers multiple factors and requirements for undertaking a manager position, such as good character, ability to perform tasks, qualifications, competence, skills and experience. This qualification (NVQ/RFQ level 5) may be used as a CQC requirement for undertaking a manager position.

Learners completing the Level 4 & 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care will allow progress to:

The final year of an undergraduate degree; or
Directly into employment in an associated profession.
